Memorial Specialty Care Critical Care

Our critical care physicians practice in the hospital setting and provide care to patients requiring intensive care. Often referred to as “intensivists,” our critical care physicians collaborate with hospital and specialty teams to treat, diagnose and support patients experiencing and recovering from critical illness, which often includes organ failure or injuries that may be life-threatening. Their focus also extends to loved ones for support in understanding the patient’s prognosis, plan of care and advance directives. Memorial Specialty Care Critical Care physicians currently provide services at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
