You deserve convenient care. Not every appointment requires an in-person visit. Our expanded telehealth visits offer a safe, convenient option to speak with and see your established behavioral health provider through two-way video technology. Best of all, it is from the comfort of your own home, through a computer or mobile device. It is a great option for times when you need to see your behavioral health provider, but not necessarily in the office.
You are not required to use telehealth, but it is another way we can meet your behavioral health needs through safe, convenient care.
Not sure if telehealth is an option for you? Call our office as you normally would. Our colleagues will discuss your needs and determine if a telehealth visit is appropriate. If we determine we need to see you in person, we’ve made adjustments at our clinics to ensure your safety, including screening upon arrival required masks for all colleagues and patients, reduced seating and in-car registration that allows you to to skip the waiting room. Below are some common questions we receive about telehealth visits.

Telehealth is available to any established Memorial Behavioral Health patient who has access to a mobile device or computer with internet. When you call our office to schedule an appointment, our colleagues will decide if a telehealth visit is an appropriate option for you.

What can I expect?
Once our team determines a telehealth visit is appropriate, our staff will set up an appointment time. You will receive an email with a link and detailed instructions of how to set up and access your visit. Instructions may vary depending on the type of device you are using.
Our staff will complete a test session to ensure connectivity and your comfort with the technology prior to your visit. When it is time for your actual visit, simply access the link as instructed in your appointment reminder to connect with your care provider.
How should I prepare for my telehealth visit?
Here are a few tips for a successful telehealth visit:
- Participate from a quiet, private space that is free from distractions and interruptions by others
- Dress appropriately, as if you were attending an in-person visit
- Be aware of your background or use the option to blur your background
- Avoid using public Wi-Fi so that you can better ensure your privacy
- Have a charger nearby or make certain you have a full battery prior to the visit. When using a mobile device for video visits, please be aware that your battery may drain more quickly.
- Place the camera in a stationary position and leave it there for the duration of the video call
