Colleague Giving Campaign

Each year, TMH colleagues have the opportunity to make a difference in our organization through donating to the Colleague Giving Campaign. Whether large or small, the combined gifts make a positive difference.

Signature Event

"Gifts of the Season” serves as the Foundation’s annual Signature Event where proceeds raised benefit the Healthcare Career Scholarship program. Foundation leadership has chosen this popular event to support the administration and underwriting of scholarships for students and current hospital employees.  The scholarship program provides the opportunity for students to pursue educational opportunities in exchange for a work commitment at TMH once education is complete. The Foundation also administers three other privately funded and endowed scholarships: The Carolyn M. Butterfield Trust Nursing Scholarship, John H. Butterfield Agriculture and Nutrition Scholarship and Dr. George Ferry Memorial Scholarship.

Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. The program is open to any adult who interacts with adolescents on a regular basis, whether at home, work, volunteering, church group etc. and are interested in learning more about how to intervene effectively when a youth is struggling with a mental health challenge. Participants are required to complete a two-hour, self-paced, online course prior to attending in-person instruction. The training is also eligible for CEU credits.
