The Healing Life Society values the natural and spiritual aspects of healing at LMH.
Memberships support the following needs: maintenance of healing gardens around LMH through benches, walkways and patios for patients, families and LMH employees; an active spiritual care program that includes an LMH Pastoral Care chaplain available to serve as a prayer partner, counselor and administrator of the Sacraments; the provision of Bibles and other devotional materials to meet needs of patients of all faiths; the hosting of an annual Service of Remembrance that combines music, words of comfort and a solemn reading of names for families who have lost a loved one at LMH in the past year. Ceremony includes planting of new life in the garden and a butterfly release. Life membership requires an $1,000 donation or $100 for an annual membership.
