Lillian Garner, patient care technician, is the Springfield Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for November.

Garner was recognized by her nominator for being helpful, attentive and kind to those around her. She embodies Memorial values including safe care, integrity, quality and stewardship.

“Lily is one of a kind,” the nominator wrote. “She keeps her patients safe by helping them ambulate (walk independently) properly. She is a wonderful patient care technician, and I’m so excited for her to become a nurse in a couple of years and watch her advocate and care for our patients.”

Garner has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2021.
