“We appreciate the work the Food Pantry does for our community,” said Jay Boulanger, Memorial Health community health coordinator. “Helping ensure their volunteers are prepared for potential medical emergencies is one way we can support them.”

The donation and training equipped volunteers with lifesaving skills and improves safety for individuals who use the pantry.

“We thank Taylorville Memorial Hospital and Chief Adermann for the generous donation and providing training opportunities for our volunteers,” said Amy Hagen, co-coordinator at the Pantry. “The skills they acquired will help ensure the individuals we serve are safe while at the pantry. We are grateful for the support and look forward to having future trainings as new volunteers join.”
