John W. Ridley, MHCDS

System Administrator, Ambulatory Products and Services

John Ridley is system administrator of ambulatory products and services for Memorial Health. He spent 15 of his 25 years in healthcare at Decatur Memorial Hospital, where he held the positions of executive director of Oncology Services, senior vice president and executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Ridley earned a degree in radiation therapy from Swedish American Hospital in 1994. He received a bachelor’s degree in health administration from the University of Illinois in 2000 and a master’s degree in healthcare delivery science from Dartmouth College in 2015.

He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators and the Heartland Healthcare Coalition. He serves as vice chairman of the Physician Hospital Organization and as a director with Heartland Risk Management Organization. He also serves on the board of directors for Country Club of Decatur, Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois.
