Like to run? Love walking with friends? Preparing for your first ever race? Everyone is welcome to join one of Jacksonville's favorite community traditions – the JMH 5K/10K presented by Gatorade.

This year’s event begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, on the east side of the JMH campus, 1600 W. Walnut St., in Jacksonville. Enjoy a fast, flat course, a fun race-day atmosphere and the opportunity to support the Prairieland United Way.

A representative from HOKA Shoes will also be at the race to offer shoe demonstrations.

Register by Oct. 6 to guarantee your race-branded tech shirt. Online registration is open through Oct. 16. Entry fee is $30 ($35 on race day).
