12/23/2019

The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation has accepted a $10,000 grant from the Bertrand Hopper Memorial Foundation in support of its Healthcare Careers Education Grant program.  This program will aid students interested in studying healthcare and offers an opportunity to work at Taylorville Memorial Hospital upon degree completion.

“Education grants are intended to create a talent pipeline,” said TMH Foundation Education Committee chair Billy Williams.  “We want to help students receive the education they need and encourage them to build their careers right here at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.”

Like many organizations in the Taylorville community, the Bertrand Hopper Memorial Foundation has consistently supported the hospital over the years.  “It is because of their continued generosity the TMH Foundation is able to support its mission to improve health,” said TMH Foundation executive director Raedena Ryan. “Through donations like these, we strengthen the future of our community as we encourage young professionals to return to our service area and serve as the next generation of local healthcare providers.”

If you would like to support the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation, tax deductible contributions can be made payable to Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation and mailed to 201 East Pleasant Street, Taylorville, IL 62568 or online at taylorvillememorial.org/foundation.

The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit, incorporated as a 501(c)3. Organized in 1995, the TMH Foundation supports the Taylorville Memorial Hospital’s mission to improve the health of the people and communities it serves.
