Taylorville Memorial Hospital is proud to provide the American Lung Association’s “Freedom from Smoking” program. Participants will learn how to overcome tobacco addiction and start enjoying the benefits of better health and how to stay smoke-free for good.
“Smoking is one of the hardest habits to break due to the highly addictive nature of nicotine,” said Lora Polley, TMH director of ancillary services and program facilitator. “This program is proven to help those who are ready to quit smoking have lasting success.”
Starting July 1, the program will be held in the 2nd floor Annex at Taylorville Memorial Hospital from 6-7:30 p.m. Taught over the course of seven sessions, this free course is available to anyone ready to quit smoking.
Taylorville Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located at 201 E. Pleasant Street in Taylorville and is an affiliate of Memorial Health System. For more information about TMH, visit TaylorvilleMemorial.org.
