Taylorville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary hosted another babysitting clinic on April 18.

Sixteen students were taught how to care for an infant and learned CPR for sitters.  Staff from the Taylorville Police Department and Fire Department presented valuable information on how to proceed in an emergency and students also learned how to make fun and easy snacks.

“The information the students receive at the babysitting clinic is so important.  Parents want to know their children are in good hands and we are pleased to help train these young sitters to be the best caregivers,” said Becky Erlenbush, TMH Nurse Educator.

At the conclusion of the day-long clinic, students were presented with their graduation certificate.
