Passavant Area Hospital’s Employee of the Month is Stephanie Yingling, MOT, OTR/L, an occupational therapist in the Rehabilitation Services department. Yingling has been employed at Passavant three years.

A grateful co-worker nominated Yingling for the award. “Stephanie has gone above and beyond by fostering interdisciplinary teams and meetings to meet her patients’ needs. Her efforts have greatly improved the quality of care our patients receive. In addition, she led changes within Rehabilitation Services and the Transitional Care Unit (TCU) plan of care to increase length of stay which improves the financial success of the TCU.”

As an occupational therapist, Yingling is responsible for completing occupational therapy evaluations on medical floors and TCU, managing the patient’s plan of care, communicating patient needs with Social Services and engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings.     

Yingling and her husband, Seth, are the parents of a son, Beckett.

The Employee of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, an Employee of the Month plaque, an Employee of the Month pin, a close parking space for one month in the physicians’ parking garage and a decorated cake.
