Taylorville Memorial Hospital hosted the bi-annual networking luncheon for staff of area hospitals whose work is dedicated to the elderly population on October 5. The group gathered to discuss ideas on community education efforts and how to effectively reach out to community referral sources. Hosted in the TMH Annex conference room, they were able to discuss sensitive information in a private environment.
“We were able to talk about treatment planning and have an in-depth discussion of a complicated patient case,” said Amy Graham, Senior Life Solutions Director at TMH. “We were able to come up with some great ideas and helpful processes for making treatment goals understandable and meaningful for patients.”
Employees from Taylorville Memorial Hospital, Sarah Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Staunton Community Hospital, Carlinville Area Hospital and Paris Community Hospital attended the luncheon.
