Passavant Area Hospital’s Employee of the Month is Kevin Eckhoff, communications coordinator in the Marketing and Communications department. He has been employed at Passavant 33 years.

Eckhoff’s supervisor nominated him for the award. “Kevin covers all the communication needs of the hospital. His work not only touches the community, but every department at Passavant. He exhibits exemplary service to his colleagues and to Passavant.”

As communications coordinator, Eckhoff is responsible for coordinating and writing the employee newsletter, handling media requests, creating content for social media, writing and posting news releases, coordinating hospital tours, sharing photography assignments and processing graphics/print shop requests. He also serves as race director for the Passavant-Gatorade 5K and 10K.

Eckhoff and his fiancé, Michelle McNeely, reside in Jacksonville.   

The Employee of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, an Employee of the Month plaque, an Employee of the Month pin, a close parking space for one month in the physician’s parking garage and a decorated cake.
