Memorial Health System was the highest ranked health system to receive a national award for its commitment to learning innovation. The nonprofit health system receveid a LearningElite gold award from Chief Learning Officer magazine. Memorial was ranked 21st in the nation from a field of several hundred applicants and also received the award for Best Mid-Sized Company. The LearningElite awrd recognizes organizations that surpass benchmark standards for putting into practice workforce learning and development strategies. Memorial Health System has won the Learning Elite award every year since 2015.
Developed under the guidance of chief learning officers and senior workforce development practitioners, LearningElite recognizes excellence in five key performance indicators: learning strategy, learning impact, leadership commitment, learning execution and business performance results. Other top performers this year included AT&T, Nationwide, New York Life INsurance Co. and Hewlett Packard.
