Passavant Area Hospital’s Employee of the Month is Mila Reichert, an applications specialist in the Information Systems department. She has been a Passavant employee ten years.

A grateful co-worker nominated Mila for the honor. “Mila sets the standard for professionalism within the IS department. She is always thoughtful to customers when their issues become frustrating. She’s an asset to the team due to her willingness to share her knowledge. She leads the way for new employees and thrives on being able to help others. Whenever our network has struggled, Mila was quick to react. She took time away from her family to come in when our system had power issues. She stayed to help our team get things back up and running by coordinating the Passavant and MHS teams. Mila never complains about going the extra mile, always is organized and encourages others when the workload gets heavy. The IS department is grateful to have such a technically-knowledgeable, patient and resilient employee to keep us on track and maintain our spirits.”

In her role as an applications specialist, Mila helps computer users work through issues, sets up new user security and provides support to the hospital’s computer applications.

Mila and her husband, Jim, reside in rural Franklin. They are the parents of four children, Shannon, Amanda, Dylan and Lauren. 

The Employee of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, an Employee of the Month plaque, a close parking space for one month, gift cards for the Cafeteria and Gift Shop, a movie gift card, pen and pencil set, picnic blanket, flashlight/tool kit, Mason jar cup, umbrella, small cooler, lunch sack, drawstring tote, water bottle, notepad, flashlight key ring, coffee mug and cup.
