Passavant Area Hospital’s Employee of the Month is Laura Henry, Health Information Management. She is a release of information specialist and has been employed at Passavant 12 years.

Her nomination from a co-worker read, “Laura takes her responsibilities very seriously. She treats our customers with kindness, courtesy, respect and all with a smile on her face. Laura strives to process requests as quickly as possible while keeping patient confidentiality. She is always consistent as a great representative of Passavant.”

Laura’s responsibilities include releasing records to patients, lawyers, insurance companies and physicians, protecting patient records and rights, answering the phone, and administering faxes.

Laura and her husband, Lincoln, reside in Winchester. 

The Employee of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, an Employee of the Month plaque, a close parking space for one month, gift cards for the Cafeteria and Gift Shop, a movie gift card, pen and pencil set, picnic blanket, flashlight/tool kit, Mason jar cup, umbrella, small cooler, lunch sack, drawstring tote, water bottle, notepad, flashlight key ring, coffee mug, and cup.
