Taylorville Memorial Hospital and the Christian County YMCA are inviting area adults age 55 and older to a free Senior Day Out from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Christian County YMCA, 900 McAdam Drive in Taylorville.
The event is designed to help older adults stay active, informed and connected while enjoying an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Attendees can participate in bingo, door prize drawings, free health screenings, community exhibits and a free produce giveaway.
The first 100 participants will receive a complimentary lunch.
"Senior Day Out is a wonderful opportunity for older adults to connect with friends, learn about local resources and take advantage of health and wellness offerings in a welcoming environment," said Jay Boulanger, community health consultant.
