Tori Cottingham, a recovery peer specialist with Memorial Behavioral Health (MBH), has been named Colleague of the Month for July for the Memorial Health Ambulatory Group.

Cottingham helps support individuals at the West Lake location in the Supervised Residential program, Community Conditional Release program and Crisis Center. She responds to safety concerns, medical needs and mental health crises while helping ensure a safe and supportive setting for those in her care.

“Tori is one of the best colleagues I have had the pleasure to work with,” wrote her nominator. “Her compassion and connection with those she serves sets her apart.”

In addition to her daily responsibilities, Cottingham serves as the site of care representative to the Memorial Behavioral Health Safety Committee and conducts monthly checks. She also regularly supports multiple programs, stepping in to help cover open roles and maintain continuity of care across the campus.

The Colleague of the Month award celebrates Memorial Health colleagues who exemplify excellence in their roles and embody the organization’s mission, vision and values.
