Memorial Health has named Betty Ealey as the June Colleague of the Month for System Resources.
Ealey, a specialist in Patient Access Services, has been with the organization since January 2015 and is a trusted, knowledgeable presence for both patients and colleagues. Her nominator described her as a staple of the patient access team who helps create a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
Ealey combines strong interpersonal skills with experience, helping both new and established team members navigate questions with accuracy and understanding. She keeps patients informed, answers questions clearly and pays close attention to patient flow so registrations and check-ins move as smoothly as possible.
"Patients will often ask for her by name, and she ensures the comfort of patients by answering all their questions and keeping them informed every step of the way," wrote one nominator.
