Lincoln Memorial Hospital named physical therapist Rachel Durchholz as May Colleague of the Month.
Durchholz, who joined Lincoln Memorial Hospital (LMH) in February 2020, earned the recognition through a letter from a patient who recently completed several weeks of physical therapy for a shoulder injury. In it, the patient credited Durchholz's individualized treatment plans and one-on-one instructions with significantly improving their condition.
"She demonstrated excellent verbal skills with clear explanations, patience, kindness and a professional demeanor, " wrote the nominator. "She is an asset to the LMH physical therapy department. "
Durchholz’s ability to explain complex rehabilitation steps in plain language, combined with consistent encouragement, helped the patient feel confident and supported throughout the recovery process.
