Bobbi Heylek, a patient care technician, is the Decatur Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for December.

Not only does Heylek provide exceptional care for patients, but she also trains new patient care technicians to follow her example. One nominator noted that she cares for patients as if they are her own family.

“Watching Bobbi care for patients is truly a blessing,” wrote another nominator. “She ensures patients are comfortable and have everything they need before she leaves the room.”

Heylek has worked for Decatur Memorial Hospital since 2012.
