Businesses and organizations are invited to bring their health-related offerings to the Community Health Fair planned for March 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lincoln Park District in Lincoln. The health fair is sponsored by the Logan County Department of Public Health and the Healthy Communities Partnership.

This year’s theme, “5 2 1 0 – Be a Healthy Superstar” is highlighting an easy way to remember healthy daily habits: five fruits and vegetables each day, no more than 2 hours of recreational screen time each day, at least one hour of activity daily, and zero sugar-sweetened beverages.

“We already have several exhibitors lined up for the event but we are happy to accept more,” said Emily Hauter, health educator at the Logan County Department of Public Health. “The health fair is a great opportunity to reach our community and help our local effort to encourage healthy choices. Last year was our biggest health fair to date and we look forward to another successful event for people of all ages.”
