Bernard Lim, MD, PhD, a physician specializing in cardiac electrophysiology, is now seeing patients at Memorial Specialty Care Cardiology.
Cardiac electrophysiologists diagnose and treat arrhythmias and other conditions affecting heart rhythm.
Dr. Lim earned a medical degree from the University of Dundee and a doctorate degree in cardiovascular biology and molecular medicine from the University of Leeds, both in the United Kingdom. He later completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology.
“We continue to expand our team at Memorial Specialty Care Cardiology,” said Kimberly Paskiewicz, system administrator of specialty services at Memorial Health. “We’re excited for the expertise that Dr. Lim will bring to the practice.”
“When patients learn that they may need treatment for a heart condition, it can be a scary experience,” Dr. Lim said. “My goal is to explain treatment options in an accessible way, to help put their minds at ease.”
