Carpenter Trent Gastorf is the Memorial Health System Resources Colleague of the Month for June.
Gastorf is appreciated for the way he learns about the departments he maintains and ensures the work is appropriate and needed. His nominator recalled a leak in a Memorial Child Care classroom. Gastorf was at the facility for another work order and noticed the leak. He turned off the leaking humidifier and started cleaning up the water. He investigated how the far the leak had gone, pulled up baseboards to assess damage and brought in fans to dry out the area.
“Trent is a true asset to the facilities team and to Memorial Health as a whole,” wrote his nominator. “He treats everyone with a high level of respect, always taking time to listen and help with any concerns and offer solutions or fix issues.”
Gastorf has worked for Memorial Health since 2018.
