Natalie Van Dyke, a patient experience liaison, is the Memorial Health System Resources Colleague of the Month for May.
Van Dyke works closely with patients and listens with patience, kindness and understanding. She helps facilitate patient complaints or grievances, guides leaders and colleagues through the process to ensure appropriate follow-up and serves as a trainer in how to excel at customer service and great patient experience.
“Natalie has a great ability to see both sides of a situation, which makes her exceptional at her job,” wrote her nominator. “She is a doer, not afraid to step in and help in any way possible – reaching out to the unhappiest of individuals, shadowing an area to provide insight for improvements, rounding on patients in busy clinic waiting rooms, making calls to see where she can be of assistance to a patient and much more.”
Van Dyke has worked for Memorial Health since 2002.
