Greg Owens, an LPN with Memorial Care on Koke Mill, is the Memorial Health Ambulatory Colleague of the Month for May.
His colleagues and patients appreciate Owens for his positive and uplifting attitude. His nominator noted how he approaches every interaction with kindness and respect and embodies a spirit of collaboration and shared success. He treats each person with dignity and actively avoids discrimination and bias in his interactions with patients and colleagues.
He also prioritizes safety. “Greg actively identifies and addresses potential safety hazards,” his nominator wrote. “He fosters a culture of open communication and encourages colleagues to report any safety concerns without fear of judgement, creating a safer environment for everyone.”
Owens has worked for Memorial Health since 2014.
