“The most rewarding part of my job is helping people at their time of need and letting them know that we are always here for them no matter what their situation,” McIntyre said.
McIntyre answers the phone for the office, and her kind, caring demeanor creates a calm atmosphere for patients who often call during times of crisis. As the first line of communication, she advocates for patients and motivates other colleagues.
“Maureen’s compassion for our patients has no match,” wrote her nominator. “She has a calming presence when talking to patients on the phone and goes above and beyond to help those in need. Her years of experience are incredibly valuable to our office, and I’ve learned a lot from her.”
McIntyre has worked for Memorial Health since 1995.
