Caldwell is an advocate for patient safety. She is considered a trusted and reliable set of eyes on patients and immediately alerts the nurse and charge nurse of any concerns.
“She is compassionate with her patients at the bedside,” wrote her nominator. “She is a role model for a great work ethic, always saying ‘yes’ she can help even when she’s busy. She constantly communicates with nurses and other staff members about patient needs to ensure safety and quality of care.”
Caldwell holds high expectations for herself in the PCT role. She follows fall prevention tactics consistently and always answers call lights when she walks by even if they aren’t her assigned patients. She is also respectful and maintains a gentle and calm rapport with patients and fellow colleagues.
Caldwell has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2021.
