The mother of one of Hodgson’s patients raved about the amazing care her son received after an accident.

“Pediatric patients are so lucky and blessed to have your talents and care,” the mother wrote in her nomination. “We cannot thank you enough.”

Hodgson is known by her team for treating her patients with kindness and compassion. She makes her patients feel comfortable and demonstrates patience for them during their hospital stay.

She has worked for Decatur Memorial Hospital since 2005.
