Horacek greets patients with a smile and shows respect for everyone, always maintaining a positive outlook and caring attitude even on the busiest days.
“Ashley is an amazing individual who goes above and beyond.” wrote her nominator. “She always keeps the nursing and lab teams informed of any issues with patient care.”
Horacek is also intentional about helping to maintain a positive work environment for both employees and patients. She communicates regularly with the lab team to ensure each patient receives prompt care.
“Ashley treats every patient like they were her own friend or family member and builds a caring and professional relationship with these patients,” noted her leader. “From a colleague and patient care standpoint, Ashley is a wonderful example of what a Memorial colleague should be.” Horacek has worked for Memorial Health since 2020.
