Next DMH Community Education Session to Focus on Colorectal Cancer

3/8/2023

Memorial Specialty Care physicians Ranjodh Singh, MD, and Nathan Pyle, DO, will share the latest advances in colorectal cancer screening and treatment. The session will also include an interactive question and answer session with the doctors.

“Each year, about 150,000 Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer,” said Dr. Singh. “In fact, about 1 in 23 men and 1 and 25 women will develop this type of cancer during their lifetimes. The good news is regular screening can identify precancerous polyps before they become cancerous, and recent advances in treatment have greatly improved outcomes for people who develop cancer.”

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, in Classroom A at DMH, 2300 N. Edward St., Decatur. To register, visit memorial.health/dmh_community_education.
