To her colleagues, Haas is known as a mentor for students and the second shift team, a virtual “Swiss Army Knife” of imaging talent and a positive influence for all. Her smile and can-do attitude is appreciated by those around her. In diagnostic colleague meetings, Haas is regularly called out by her peers for going above and beyond. Patients also have noted her care and attention.

“My care at Memorial was excellent, but one person stood out,” one patient wrote. “Imagine being facedown. You can’t see a thing. Even though it was uncomfortable, I had Lizabeth to help me through it. She talked to me, placed her hands on my arms and told me what was going on. Her compassion comforted me.”

Haas has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2015.
