Paine has a laser focus for patient safety. She makes sure everything is properly prepared for all surgeries and is a team player. She is always willing to help other employees including assisting anesthesia with any task.

Paine is known for her kindness toward patients. She’s a compassionate nurse who answers all questions with respect and dignity and treats each patient with great care.

“Recently Annette came to me with a code in the ED,” wrote her nominator. “She immediately took charge and responded without reservation. She initiated CPR when needed and stayed with the patient’s family until the ambulance arrived for transfer. She has great nursing skills and is such an asset to TMH.”

Paine has worked at Taylorville Memorial Hospital since 2021.
