Carnes received accolades for her patience, gentle demeanor and helpful attitude from the urgent care side in several nominations from patients and parents of patients. She especially enjoys taking care of pediatric patients and eliciting smiles from the younger ones.

Her colleagues appreciate her leadership skills and her attention to quality care, safety practices and the latest updates to evidence-based care.

“She has a positive attitude, which helps create a positive work environment,” wrote her nominator. “She is a leader among providers and helps train our new colleagues. She is a wonderful asset to our department.”
