Candace assists in regular rounding, alerts others of possible fall risks and often stays after her shift ends to be a sitter for patients. Not only does she look out for her patients, but she also is attentive to her colleagues, often taking action, unasked, when someone needs assistance.

“Candace asks questions to further her own knowledge not only about patient conditions, but also about procedures and treatments,” wrote her nominator. “She also helps promote safety.”

Candace has worked at Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 2012. She is the youngest of nine and loves to read and hang out with family and friends.
