Krepel is known for her professional and compassionate attitude toward patients who come in for mammography services. Recently she had a patient whose images came back normal, but Krepel noticed a slight abnormality. She sent the images back for a quality check. The results came back with an abnormal reading, and the patient was able to start the treatment process.

“Holly has a tough job,” wrote her nominator. “Most patients are not excited to be here for their mammograms. Holly continues to make sure each patient’s anxiety is handled with ease.”

Krepel has worked at Taylorville Memorial Hospital since 2006. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children when she’s not at work.
