One of Gerre-Medhin’s responsibilities is to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Main Lobby, which receives the majority of foot traffic on a daily basis. Her nominator noted both her work ethic and her friendly demeanor to patients, visitors and colleagues.

“It is not surprising Tsige works our main lobby because she is exactly the kind of individual you would want as the first face of Springfield Memorial Hospital,” wrote her nominator. “She is a kind soul and a hard worker. She does a pristine job of taking care of our area, and she does it with a smile on her face.”

Gerre-Medhin has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2002. When she’s not at work, she loves to garden, volunteer at church, shop and spend time with her husband and their two grown daughters.
