Estes, of Springfield, has worked at Springfield Memorial Hospital for 31 years.

“Kim wears many hats in our department – legal tech, scheduler, unit clerk, mentor – and knocks it out of the park in all her roles,” wrote Estes’ co-worker in a form nominating her for recognition.

For Estes, “seeing patients get better while creating a relationship with them is something you always remember,” she said. “I also work alongside great colleagues who are like family to me.”

Outside of work, Estes enjoys shopping with her sisters and card games and vacations with family.
