Holly Wohltman, a physical therapist at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for April.

Wohltman, of Jacksonville, focuses on physical therapy in her work, but her patients often present with mental health and emotional needs as well, hospital officials said. Wohltman excels at recognizing those needs and guiding her patients to appropriate care, they said.

“Holly is excellent at coordinating care between other therapists, doctors and surgeons,” said her nominator.

In addition, Wohltman completes a significant amount of continuing education that she integrates into daily care for her patients. She aspires to become an orthopedic certified specialist.

Wohltman has worked at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2018.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her wife to sporting events and tropical locations.
