TAYLORVILLE – During this season of generosity, the Taylorville Memorial Foundation is seeking donations for its annual appeal to Taylorville Memorial Hospital’s mission to improve lives and build stronger communities through better health, the foundation’s board president said.
The Taylorville Memorial Foundation works in a variety of ways, both inside and outside of the hospital walls. In fiscal year 2021, the foundation invested $73,278 in the nonprofit hospital’s mission, which included educational grants for current and aspiring health care workers and supported patient care services, medical technologies and local community health outreach initiatives.
“Now more than ever the generosity of our donors allows the foundation to invest in our local hospital as our health care workers navigate ever-changing obstacles to keep our families, friends and neighbors safe and healthy,” said Billy Williams, Taylorville Memorial Foundation board president. “We are filled with gratitude as we reflect on all we have been able to accomplish and will continue to with meaningful and lasting gifts from our donors.”
To support the Taylorville Memorial Foundation’s 2021 annual appeal, tax-deductible contributions can be made payable to Taylorville Memorial Foundation and mailed to 201 E. Pleasant St., Taylorville, IL 62568, or donations can be made online at memorial.health/TMF.
The Taylorville Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Organized in 1995, the foundation supports the hospital’s mission to improve lives and build stronger communities through better health.
