Estep Named ALMH Employee of the Month

Kara Estep of Lincoln was born at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln and now, 24 years later, she has been honored with the Employee of the Month award.

Kara Estep has worked at ALMH since 2008. For the past three years she has worked in the Patient Access department as a Patient Access Associate. She registers patients as they arrive for a variety of procedures. Estep also pre-registers patients for radiology, physical therapy and respiratory therapy appointments over the phone.

Co-worker Tess Thomas nominated Estep for the award. Thomas said that Estep was always cheerful, hard working and most importantly she was always pleasant while serving patients both in person and over the phone.

“I am proud to be a part of the hospital and everything we do for our community,” said Estep. “ALMH is a great place to work.”

Estep is married to Budd Estep. She is the daughter of John and Gail O’Donoghue. She is a 2009 graduate of Lincoln Community High School.
