Barbara Galloway, a central scheduler for Taylorville Memorial Hospital (TMH), was named the hospital’s Colleague of the Month for March.

Galloway has been instrumental in mass vaccination efforts at the nonprofit hospital.

“She often makes patients laugh when she calls to schedule their vaccination,” one of Galloway’s nominators wrote. “Listening to her interactions, you might think she knows each patient personally.”

Galloway loves the challenge of “piecing all the appointments together.”

“Every day is rewarding,” Galloway said. “I have been blessed to have been involved in scheduling the COVID-19 vaccination appointments. Our community is so thankful for us, and I cannot express how grateful I am to be part of the TMH family.”

Galloway lives in Edinburg with her husband. She has three adult children and enjoys camping, crafting and Jeep rides.
