Virtual Press Availability, Training Grants to Local First Responders

What: Memorial Health System will host a virtual press conference via Zoom to share details of grants being made by the Memorial Medical Center Foundation to 32 central Illinois EMS agencies to supply American Heart Association (AHA) instructional books for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Life Support (PLS).

The grant comes at a time when many EMS agencies have faced financial pressures stemming from the demands of response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
