Applications are available for the 2021 Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation Healthcare Career Educational Grant.

Award amounts range from $1,500 for a CNA, up to $10,000 for an associate degree, up to $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree and up to $30,000 for graduate degrees. Recipients will complete a work obligation at Taylorville Memorial Hospital upon completion of their program.

Applicants must be currently attending or accepted into a fully accredited school for their chosen field of study, and demonstrate a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

“Since 2018, the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation has awarded nearly $83,000 in funding to students pursuing healthcare degrees.  This program is a win for the student, the hospital, our patients, and our larger community.  Investing in education to strengthen local healthcare is possible thanks to the generosity of our donors,” said Raedena Ryan, executive director of the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation. Healthcare Career Educational Grants are funded by proceeds from the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation annual Signature Event and the Katie McCarty Nursing Excellence Fund.
