Albert Gilman, MD, completed his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria in 1999. He completed medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C., in 1993.

George A. Liu, MD

George A. Liu, MD, is a general surgeon with extensive skills in advanced minimally invasive surgeries since 1990, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic colectomy and ventral hernia repair. He has expertise in colonoscopy and EGD, as well as oncoplastic surgery of the breast. Dr. Liu leads the Breast Center of Excellence at DMH. He is a fellow of American College of Surgeons and member of American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Robin Riley, MD

Robin Riley, MD, is a general surgeon specializing in surgery for breast cancer, hiatal hernia and reflux, as well as robotic surgery. Dr. Riley completed her residency in general surgery at University of Vermont Medical Center and earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Arizona State University.

Mohammad Torabi, MD

Mohammad Torabi, MD, is a general surgeon certified in many areas, including da Vinci robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and endoscopic surgery. He specializes in robotic hernia repair, complex hernia repair and abdominal reconstruction. Dr. Torabi is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons and the author of numerous scholarly articles and poster presentations. He did his postgraduate training and residency at Michigan State University Sparrow Hospital.
