This Privacy Policy explains how Memorial Health System, d/b/a Memorial Health (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses and shares the information we collect when you use our website , mobile app, or other electronic resource that links to this privacy policy (together, the “Online Services”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we may collect about you through other means, such as in our hospitals, medical centers or at in-person events.

A Note about Your Health Information

This Privacy Policy does not address our privacy practices concerning any protected health information we collect as covered entities under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), including protected health information collected through the Online Services; we address those practices in a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers include a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to websites that a user does not want to have their Internet activity tracked. While we are committed to respecting your privacy choices, these features are not uniform. For that reason, we do not currently recognize or respond to these Do Not Track signals.

Children’s Privacy

The Online Services are intended for a general audience and not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13. As a non-profit organization, our collection of children’s personal information is not governed by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We do not intend to collect personal information as defined by COPPA (“Children’s Personal Information”) from minors under the age of 13 without parental consent.
