Pain management specialist Sundararaj Cherala, MD, has joined Memorial Pain Clinic in Decatur.

Dr. Cherala has more than 40 years of experience treating neck, back, knee, hip and shoulder pain, including post-surgical pain and pain related to cancer.

He is a graduate of Madras Medical College and served residencies in general surgery and anesthesiology, as well as a fellowship in anesthesiology.

“I believe in treating patients with evidence-based medicine, paying careful attention to their needs,” Dr. Cherala said. “I work as a team with patients to help them relieve their pain and function better in daily life.”
