Emma Snyder, a staff pharmacist with Pharmacy Services at Decatur Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for December.

Snyder has done critical work to update the hospital’s Master Formulary Records and volunteered to fill in the gap for a critical shift after a staff departure, taking on additional responsibility.

“Emma is an excellent pharmacist who has been a vital part of the IV room infrastructure here at DMH,” wrote the nominator. “Emma’s self-sacrifice with the scheduling challenge on behalf of patient care and teamwork shows a level of camaraderie and teamwork that exemplifies the best of Memorial’s core values of integrity and stewardship.

Snyder has worked for Decatur Memorial Hospital since 2021.
