Salisbury Honored for Leadership at Taylorville Memorial Hospital

12/5/2025

Stephen Salisbury, pharmacy manager at Taylorville Memorial Hospital, received one of the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network’s 4 Under 40 leadership awards for 2025.

Each year, ICAHN presents the awards to four new and emerging hospital leaders or board members who are 40 years old or younger and whose innovative leadership is transforming patient care at their organizations.

“Stephen’s leadership has had a positive impact not only on our pharmacy, but on TMH as a whole,” said Kim Bourne, TMH president and CEO. “He is incredibly deserving of this recognition.”

Salisbury has been with TMH since 2017. Under his leadership, the Pharmacy team has undertaken projects that improve the quality of care and ensure patient safety. He has also worked alongside teams across the hospital and Memorial Health to ensure patients receive the best care possible.

He is extensively involved in the Taylorville community, including serving on the boards of the Tornado Wrestling Foundation and Christian County PeeWee Basketball. He volunteers as a youth sports coach for baseball, basketball and football and led sports skills camps for the Christian County YMCA.

“It’s an honor to receive this award,” Salisbury said. “I’m grateful to work alongside such dedicated and talented colleagues at TMH who make coming to work both meaningful and enjoyable.”
